How to get here 

City between mountains, with 4,103 inhabitants (estimated population 2016), is located at 1,060 m altitude in the south of Minas Gerais and is bathed by the waters of the rivers Capivari and Rio Grande. It has numerous springs from where spring crystalline waters that transform into beautiful rapids and waterfalls. There are so many that the city is known as "Land of Waterfalls". It was elected in 2008 by the Encontro Magazine of Belo Horizonte, the 4th (fourth) Maravilha de Minas Gerais. Its special rock formations form breathtaking viewpoints and canyons. Its flora, besides the natural beauty of the flowers of the Cerrado of Minas Gerais, is home to several exotic species such as bromeliads, orchids, cacti and rare quaresmeiras. Colored birds, butterflies, toucans, seriemas and maned wolves are some of the inhabitants of the hills that surround Carrancas.

Rio de Janeiro / Carrancas

Follow BR 040, passing through Juiz de Fora to Barbacena, then going through BR 265 to Itutinga. If you pass the first entrance, which has only a small indication, you will soon find another entrance - and last - where you will also be signposted "Pousada D. Júlia", "Armazem do Pão", you will be in Itutinga, to the left.

Pass through the post, the church, the post office and soon after you will find a sign on the pole indicating Carrancas on the right, Itutinga is 25 km. In km 23 you will find several signs indicating "Pousada Céu e Serra", turn left and keep going straight, there will be several signs, just follow another 500 meters and you will be at the inn.

You will find a large red lounge and a glass balcony, next to the central door you will find an intercom and a bell, just press the two, no matter the time, we will be ready to serve you.

Follow BR 040, passing through Juiz de Fora to Barbacena (275 km). In Barbacena take BR 265 to Itutinga (124 km). If you pass the first entrance, which has only a small indication, you will soon find another entrance - and last - where you will also be signposted "Pousada D. Júlia", "Armazem do Pão", you will be in Itutinga, to the left.

São Paulo / Carrancas

Follow the Fernão Dias Highway until the entrance to Lavras (exit 688), stay tuned to the sign indicating Lavras accessing the Highway BR 265 (Lavras - São João Del Rei) where, after 54 km you will reach the municipality of Itutinga.

On this road you will pass signs indicating the cities of Macuco and Itumirim, then you will see the sign for Itutinga, enter the city of Itutinga.

Just after the spines, enter to the right. You will also see signs indicating "Pousada Nascimento", "Pousada D. Júlia", "Armazém do Pão", you will be in Itutinga, turn right.

Belo Horizonte / Carrancas 

Follow the Rodão Fernão Dias until the entrance of Rod. Antônio Carlos Carvalho (! 56 KM). Follow Rod Antônio Carlos Carvalho, MG-332 and Rod. Antônio Carlos Carvalho until BR-265 in Nazareno (65 KM). Follow BR 265 to Itutinga. If you pass the first entrance, which has only a small indication, you will soon find another entrance - and last - where you will also be signposted "Pousada D. Júlia", "Armazém do Pão".
